My relationship with JMT began while supporting the company as a
team member on a major transportation proposal. During that time, I
got to know quite a few JMT employees and observe the company's
management style and structure. I soon felt like I belonged
there. Despite being a large firm, JMT seemed to have a
family atmosphere, and I could sense that in the interactions of
its employees, from leadership on down. It is very collaborative,
and people genuinely seem to enjoy working with each other.
I was especially impressed with JMT's One Firm Concept, which
encourages teamwork across all disciplines and offices. The
approach is simple - do what is in the best interests of the
company as a whole, and everyone succeeds. When I was eventually
offered a chance to join JMT as Manager of the Environment &
Natural Resource Department, I did not hesitate. In my
two years at JMT, I have found that all of my initial
impressions of the company have held true, and that the decision
was the right one for me. I've noticed that quite a number of staff
have been here for 10, 20, and even 30-plus years, and that is very
rare these days. I think it's a true testament to the wonderful
culture that JMT offers.
