Marine facilities typically are interconnected with railroads and highways to facilitate the movement of goods throughout the transportation network.  Ports also face unique challenges due to their locations at bodies of water.  These facilities thus require expertise in a broad range of engineering and related disciplines. 

 JMT has provided services for ports on the Eastern Seaboard.  We support agencies with architectural and engineering expertise regarding wharfs, piers, bulkheads, warehouses, buildings, earthwork, foundations, paving, utilities, trackwork, and landscaping.  Typical services involve structural design and inspection, civil/site design, mechanical and electrical engineering, surveys, construction management and inspection, constructability review, and claims analysis.
