A. Lee Watts III, PE Joins JMT - New Florida Office Opens in Palm Beach Gardens

We are pleased to announce that A. Lee Watts III, PE has joined our company as Vice President. Concurrent with Mr. Watts joining JMT, we are proud to announce the opening of our newest office in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. This office has been strategically located to better serve our valued clients.

Mr. Watts will be in charge of JMT's Florida Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) Operations and will also provide additional experience and expertise for Design-Build pursuits throughout the State. He has more than 28 years of CEI experience throughout Florida and has served as a Senior Project Engineer/Resident Engineer on numerous complex highway and bridge projects for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida's Turnpike Enterprise and numerous counties, municipalities and port authorities throughout Florida.

Lee's experience includes managing a large statewide CEI operation and providing overall project management oversight and project quality assurance/quality control, developing strategic teaming relationships with key Consultants and Contractors on large CEI and Design-Build projects, performing phased constructability reviews for design operations, and assisting with resolution of field issues on CEI and design projects.

Mr. Watts holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and is registered as a professional engineer in Florida. Lee is an active member of the FICE Transportation Committee and the FICE Transportation CEI Subcommittee.
