JMT Announces New Appointments

John A. (Jack) Moeller, P.E. was appointed President of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) on February 15, 2012. Moeller was previously JMT's Chief Operating Officer and will continue as a member of JMT's Board of Directors.

Moeller joined JMT in 1995 as a member of the JMT management team. He has extensive experience leading major transportation and infrastructure projects. As President, he will be responsible for the operations of JMT's 16 offices and will also have the responsibility of developing and implementing the strategic initiatives and growth strategies for the firm.

Fred F. Mirmiran, P.E. has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of JMT. Since joining JMT in 1978, Fred has been the catalyst of JMT's growth and expansion whereby JMT now provides professional consulting services for the planning, design and construction management of infrastructure improvements nationwide.

Fred, who has more than 48 years of engineering and business growth experience, will lead JMT's mergers and acquisition practice.

Daniel T. Cheng, P.E. has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees for the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Since joining JMT in 1981, Dan has led many of JMT's transportation projects and has provided guidance in the strategic growth of JMT's offices. He has continuously worked to improve the collaboration of Consultants, Agencies, and Contractors through various leadership roles with professional organizations and quality initiatives.

Dan will continue to lead JMT's strategic growth plans and business development initiatives and also continues as a member of JMT's Board of Directors.
