Fairfax County Parkway
June 24, 2011Location: Sparks, Maryland
JMT and its employees have been commended by the National
Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) for our conscientious efforts
to help complete the Fairfax County Parkway Design-Build
project. The NGA's New Campus East headquarters, a new
complex located on 98 acres at Fort Belvoir Proving Ground,
Virginia, is expected to draw thousands of commuters each
day. The Fairfax County Parkway Design-Build project - with
JMT as lead designer for three sections totaling $112 million in
improvements - provides regional access by linking the New Campus
East project with I-95.
Representatives of the NGA and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
presented JMT employees Bill Schaub, PE, and Rodney Hayzlett, PE,
with "Star Partner" Awards for their exceptional dedication,
teamwork, and professionalism in support of the project's
goals. They and their JMT colleagues have contributed
significantly to this highly successful, fast-tracked project.
