Bruce G. Anderson Joins JMT

Sparks, MD - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce that Bruce G. Anderson has joined JMT as Senior Associate and Right-of-Way Project Manager.  Bruce has more than 25 years of experience in real estate and right-of-way acquisition for airport and roadway projects.  His responsibilities will be to continue providing similar services to our existing clients as well as exploring new opportunities to expand JMT's services and client base.

Before joining JMT, Bruce spent 21 years with the Maryland Aviation Administration (MAA) as Chief of Acquisition Activities and 4 years with the Maryland State Highway Administration's Office of Real Estate. Most recently he worked on the Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport's $1.8 billion expansion project as a project manager and Chief of Acquisition Activities (Real Property).  His career has encompassed all aspects of complex acquisition negotiations, Title VIII, Boards of Property Review, project cost estimating, relocation assistance, project management, land acquisition (fee & leasehold), appraisal review, and airport noise and acquisition programs.

Mr. Anderson is extremely knowledgeable about real estate and right of way issues, with extensive coursework in business and real estate law at Towson University and training through the State of Maryland Real Estate Commission.  He also completed a four year leadership and management program conducted by the MAA as well as Dale Carnegie Institute training.  Bruce is a member of the International Right of Way Association.
