Savely (Sam) Fisher, P.E. Joins JMT

Mount Laurel, NJ - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce that Savely (Sam) Fisher, P.E. has joined JMT as Senior Associate and will lead the Highway Engineering department of our Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. Mr. Fisher has over 27 years of experience in highway engineering for transportation agencies in New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, and Delaware.  He has served as project manager for projects of various complexities which have included bridge replacements, route realignment, urban intersection improvements, and rehabilitation and resurfacing projects.

Sam's career highlights include his work on the EIS of the widening of the NJ Turnpike mainline between Interchanges 1 and 4, the widening and re-decking of the Walt Whitman Bridge in Philadelphia, and the replacement of US Route 46 Bridge over Peckman's River. In addition, he has worked on the reconstruction of Avenue P and replacement of the superstructure of the Conrail Railroad Bridge over Avenue P in the City of Newark, NJ, and the improvements of the City's Mulberry Street and Market Street intersection. Mr. Fisher's experience also extends to overseeing the site, utility, landscape design, and preparation of construction plans for the proposed multi-purpose venue Newark (NJ) Arena.

Mr. Fisher holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware, and he is a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers.

Sam’s extensive project management and highway design experience provides our clients with an engineering resource whose knowledge and experience will ensure successful completion of future projects.
