Richmond, VA - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce that Robert T. Gallagher, P.E. has joined JMT as Vice President and Office Manager of our Richmond, Virginia office. He also will serve as our Virginia Area Coordinator responsible for regional coordination between JMT's offices in Richmond, Virginia Beach, and at Dulles Airport. Bob's responsibilities will include profit and loss, business development and marketing, and staff growth and development for our current operations, as well as developing and implementing plans for expansion within the region. Mr. Gallagher brings to JMT more than 20 years of transportation experience. He served formerly as Vice President and Transportation Manager for the Richmond office of Earth Tech, where he was responsible for profit and loss operations for that office as well as for coordination of major transportation projects throughout Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia. Bob was instrumental in the successful design and administration of many Virginia Department of Transportation and municipally-funded highway projects. He also served as champion for the development and successful execution of design-build and public-private transportation projects in the mid-Atlantic region. Mr. Gallagher holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering and an Associate degree in Construction Technology, and he is a Professional Engineer registered in Virginia. He has served as president of the Old Dominion Section of the American Society of Highway Engineers and currently serves as a representative on the Engineering Consultant Leadership Committee of the Virginia Transportation Construction Alliance (VTCA). |
