(JMT) is pleased to announce that Mohiuddin Ali Khan, Ph.D., P.E. has joined JMT as Chief Structural Engineer of the Mount Laurel, New Jersey office. He will be responsible for providing JMT's full range of structural planning and design capabilities to our clients in New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia area. Dr. Khan has more than 35 years of experience as a structural and bridge engineer, project and design manager for transportation and industrial clients. His experience includes hydraulics, geotechnical engineering and teaching. Ali has supervised numerous design projects on behalf of the New Jersey Department of Transportation, New Jersey Turnpike Authority, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Maryland State Highway Administration and Washington Metropolitan Area Transportation Authority. He has many publications to his credit and has helped to develop the New Jersey Bridge Design Manual and Scour Countermeasures Design Handbook. Ali holds a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering, and Master and doctoral degrees in Structural Engineering. He also obtained post-doctoral research experience at Northwestern University. Dr. Khan is Chairman of the ASCE-Philadelphia Section’s Structural Group and teaches structural and bridge engineering subjects at Temple University. He is a registered professional engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland. |
