York, PA - Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson, Inc. (JMT) is pleased to announce that Andrew A. Mears, RLA has joined JMT as a Senior Associate and Project Manager in our York, Pennsylvania office's Planning and Environmental Department. He will play a key role in expanding JMT's landscape architecture services, mentoring technical staff, and managing projects. Andrew has more than 17 years experience in private and public development projects of all types and sizes. Previously he served as a principal of Yost Strodoski Mears, a landscape architecture firm based in York. His site planning, design and development experience includes residential, commercial, institutional and industrial land developments, churches, streetscapes, and park and recreation projects. His designs emphasize public gathering spaces, active and passive forms of lifetime recreational opportunities, and activities for a variety of age groups. Andrew has completed feasibility studies, conceptual design alternatives, master plans, site development plans, designs, preparation of construction drawings and specifications, bidding, and construction phase services. Mr. Mears holds a Bachelor degree in Landscape Architecture from the Pennsylvania State University. He is a Registered Landscape Architect in Pennsylvania and a member of organizations such as the American Society of Landscape Architects, Pennsylvania Recreation and Park Society, and Rotary Club of York. |
