Merges with JMT

 

It is with great pleasure that we announce the merger of Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson (JMT) and The Spectra Group (Spectra) effective April 1, 2007.  Spectra has been providing civil engineering, survey and subsurface utility engineering services for over 25 years to clients in the Mid-Atlantic region.  The firm provides all facets of civil engineering, from site feasibility studies, to surveys, to design and construction phase services.  The subsurface utility engineering division provides the full range of services; designation, location and data management.

JMT, founded in 1971, is a multi-disciplined consulting engineering firm that offers services to clients throughout the Eastern United States.  JMT is No. 156 in ENR's ranking of the "Top 500 Design Firms" and specializes in the planning, design and construction management of major infrastructure improvements.  Our services span all modes of transportation including highways, airports, transit and ports.  JMT also provides comprehensive Information Technology services, and Environmental and Facilities services for water and wastewater treatment plants, schools and hospitals.

Together, we have a staff of over 550 professionals with offices in Maryland, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia and Florida.
