Eastern Federal Lands IDIQ Contract

Location: Eastern U.S., Nationwide Client: Federal Highway Administration Eastern Federal Lands

JMT provided A-E services for the Federal Highway Administration Eastern Federal Lands through a multi-year IDIQ contract.

JMT has been awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide highway/bridge design and related engineering services such as hydraulics and hydrology, survey and mapping, environmental compliance, planning, geotechnical engineering, and value engineering. Selection for this contract was based on our ability to provide high-quality design services and the capability to perform these primary services in-house.

This multi-year task order contract has a ceiling of $15 million. All services are completed in accordance with the Federal Lands Highway Project Development and Design Manual and the Standard Specification for Construction of Roads and Bridges on Federal highway projects.  All work performed by JMT undergoes a rigorous quality control review process to ensure an outstanding work product.

Projects under the contract include:

Foothills Parkway Value Engineering - JMT completed a Value Engineering (VE) study for approximately 16 miles of the Foothills Parkway in Sevier and Blount Counties, Tennessee. The project included the rehabilitation of existing roadway, drainage, safety features and paving. A significant amount of the project work included coordination with on-going adjacent construction projects. The VE team evaluated the design with major focus areas including pavement, construction sequencing, bridge approach slabs, stabilization and contract procurement. VE alternatives were developed and proposed which provided more than $1.5 million in project savings.
