Mechanical engineering is a specialized discipline which JMT provides primarily on facility projects in conjunction with electrical engineering, plumbing and fire protection services.

Our thorough site review for a project may include verification of ductwork, indoor air quality, fire sprinkler systems, piping systems, mechanical equipment condition, and structural and architectural interferences.  We evaluate program requirements based on International Mechanical and Plumbing Codes, ASHRAE, NFPA (90A/90B), BOCA, and NEC as well as other applicable local, state and Federal codes, regulations and laws.

 JMT’s design services for domestic and industrial systems include heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); fire protection and life safety; energy management; water supply; oil/water separation; and industrial gas delivery.  We have extensive experience with design of instrumentation and controls that provide building automation for industrial facilities.  JMT also provides building commissioning assistance and training for operators and other end users.
