During the design phase of a transportation or facility project, or once the needed right-of-way has been identified, JMT supports our clients with complete acquisition services.  Most importantly, we provide project management services throughout the acquisition process, ensuring timely completion of each task.

Our expert staff obtains parcel identification information and prepares any contact letters. We secure title searches from qualified firms and obtain appraisals and independent appraisal reviews from qualified and licensed certified appraisers. JMT staff also prepares all offer letters.  We negotiate with each parcel owner to reach a satisfactory conclusion; if agreement cannot be reached through negotiation, we remain with the case through the condemnation process, assisting your legal staff. In addition, we obtain the necessary closing services that will ensure recordation of each property purchased. When relocation assistance is required, we undertake research and develop studies to assist the client and the property owner.
