Landscape Architecture
Landscape Architecture is an extremely diverse design profession
that focuses on the creation and/or preservation of places. The
focus in today's world on sustainability, green technologies and
strategies, and minimal impact on the land emphasizes the core
principles that Landscape Architects have been utilizing for
years.
At JMT, our Landscape Architects have been an important part of
our services for many years. JMT's Landscape Architects provide a
critical role in our design, planning, and development teams to
ensure that our solutions uphold these standards and principles on
every project. We serve as facilitators for the creation of
complete streets, incorporation of context sensitive solutions,
application of sustainable sites principles, and integration of
LEED principles into our projects. This is what we do. Some
of our specialties include, parks, trail, open space and master
site plans, playgrounds, greenways and trails, streetscapes, public
space design, redevelopment/revitalization plans, wayfinding and
gateway signage, forest conservation planning and design.
